ABOUT WORLD TIGER DAY
World Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. The day was founded in 2010, when the 13 tiger range countries came together to create Tx2 – the global goal to double the number of wild tigers by the year 2022.

ABOUT ZOO TAIPING &
NIGHT SAFARI
Zoo Taiping was established in 1961 and is located in a natural abode in the Taiping Lake Gardens near the foothills of Maxwell Hill (Bukit Larut), covering an area of 36 acres (14 hectares). On the other hand, the Night Safari in Taiping will give you a whole new experience of zoo visiting, being the first night zoo in Malaysia. Taiping’s Night Safari is open to the public since 2003, providing visitors with the chance of observing animals at night, the time when most of them are very active.
